These fluorescent incandescent bulb replacements are kinda neat. It's a little odd, though, flipping the switch and only having the light come on about half a second later.

Those bulbs are wonderful in places where you turn the light on and leave it on for a while (ie over stairs or on the outside porch). Any place you turn the light on and off a lot, they're kind of a pain.
