Well, I'll be. My letter did get printed in Wired's letters column after all.
The other day, I saw this article in Time, about K-mart's recent tribulations. It was interesting and a bit eye-opening; I had no idea that K-mart was doing this badly. It seems they've been struggling while Wal-Mart has been thriving, to the point where an analyst's report suggested K-mart should declare bankruptcy. It makes me wonder if there will be any jobs to be had there, even if they like my resume.
Well, unlike yesterday I've woken up several hours earlier than I'd intended, and I have a five hour work schedule today. Oh well. At least this way I have plenty of time to surf the Internet and read my news sites and things before I head to work. And tomorrow's a day off.
Isn't it funny how there's such a world of difference between a day off and an off day?

This is actually the second time I've had a letter published in Wired. I go over the first one in this entry (http://robotech-master.livejournal.com/day/2001/10/26).
