Morning Update
Jan. 9th, 2002 12:00 pmWell, the test wasn't really all that much. 36 questions, mostly reading comprehension with some algebra and a chart-reading question or two. In fact, the preliminary survey I filled out--asking about how much time I spent doing this or that, what my attitudes were, and how being in college had changed them--took about as much time to do as the whole test did. I was given 45 minutes for the test; I finished in about 25. Now I just have 4 1/2 hours of work ahead of me to go.
I happened to notice this article on Slashdot today--a posting about a fellow who apparently spammed his résumé to all sorts of people, then claimed he was sending it only to human-resources departments. Predictably, some of the people complained, and he responded rather badly to it. Oops.
Well, time to start getting ready for work. More later.
