You meet the nicest people in a Taco Bell

I'm just about to pop off to bed and catch a few Zs before my class, but I was hungry so I decided to pop down to the Taco Bell down the street for a quick bite.

I first intended to go through the drivethru and bring the munchies back to my room, but there were several cars there, so I parked and went in to get carry out. It was taking a while, and I was standing there grumbling and wishing they'd hurry up...when I heard a voice from behind me calling my name, and I turned and there were my Uncle Dennis and Aunt Becky. They'd been out to see Smokey Robinson in concert, and stopped in for a bite to eat at Taco Bell before heading home. So I changed my order from to-go to eat-in, and we all had a nice little visit. Funny how things work out sometimes, isn't it? If there hadn't been too many cars...if the order hadn't taken so long...I would have barely missed seeing people I knew. I wonder how many times such near misses happen every day, unnoticed simply because...they weren't noticed?

Well, I'm going to go shower quickly and hit the sack. Hopefully tomorrow will be decent.
