All This, and Everything, Too!

robotech_masterAs I've been journalizing, I've found my attention turn back to another place for writing that I'd been ignoring a bit...a place called Everything2. E2 is a sort of an encyclopedia of everything, by everyone, kind of like the late Douglas Adams's h2g2. People contribute "nodes," or writeups on things, which are then integrated into the database. It's not necessarily the most reliable site, but it's one of the more interesting.

Meanwhile, I have to read several chapters in an annoying Strategic Management book. A book that is written by someone who never used one syllable when four would do. "Identifying and evaluating the industry and competitive forces that impact an organization entail looking at various external environmental factors." "The organization's assets and capabilities will determine how efficiently and effectively it does its work." Bleah. Someone needs to send this person to a remedial textbook writing class. Hope I can stay awake...
