Did you used to play City of Heroes and are thinking about coming back? Or have you never tried it but gotten curious based on the way it's going free-to-play? I can help. :)
Whether you're a lapsed player or a not-yet player, I can send you a free 10-day trial for the game. If you're new, I'll be happy to set you up with some in-game cash, too (though it may have to wait a bit; I'm going to be gone to GenCon this weekend).
Then, if you like it enough to want to buy a month of gameplay time for $15 (or less, see below), I'll get a free month myself. :) (Returning players will get a free month of gameplay for themselves, too. But new players apparently don't, sad to say.)
Any characters you make and play here will also be available to you in a couple of months when the game goes freemium, so it's kind of like getting a head start. If you like it enough to want to pay for it for a while, there are some really great strategies you can use for getting game time cheaply.
( Why you might want to come back or try anew )
Anyway, it's a great game and a lot of fun, and it's only going to get better when I21 comes out and it goes free to play in a couple of months. Great time to get a head start now! If you're interested, let me know your email address. I'll set comments on this post to be screened so only I will see your addresses.
