Paul Harvey's deep voice was one of the quintessential memories of my childhood. My Dad used to listen to him day in and day out when he was on KWTO AM at 12 noon years ago. When I was down there recuperating from my leg break, we listened to him some again, and I heard his voice (somewhat changed from the way I remembered it) for the first time in years.
I'm glad, now, that I listened to him again while I still had the chance. I expect his son will carry on the news and commentary program now, but it just won't be the same.
