Not so charmed anymore

So a couple weeks ago I got an order of stuff from the UK, including a little "cellphone charm" about the size of my thumb. A miniature Tardis in a plastic dome, it would spin around and a blue LED light would flash whenever a nearby cellphone received a signal that meant it was about to ring. It doesn't work with the 3G phone network, but that was OK because even though I had a 3G capable phone, 3G wasn't in use in my area. For the last week, I'd been using it at work, thumbtacked to my cubicle wall above my phone, to draw attention to it for me when it was about to go off.

Well, yesterday AT&T switched over to the 3G network, and the charm doesn't work so more.

Yay.

Article about Kung Fu Panda. Apparently it's going to be an animated "real martial arts film," not some kind of spoof or parody. Considering the voice cast, the movie starts to sound more and more like it will be worth watching.
