A while back, I bought two certificates tradeable for tickets to the current Springfield Symphony Orchestra concert season. There were only three shows left in the season, and I was going to skip the first, then attend the next two.
However, I waited until too late to get a ticket for the second of the shows, and so I'm now left with two tickets and only one remaining show of the season—this Saturday evening. I've already asked all the people I know who might want to go with me. I've considered giving it away to someone at work, or trying to pop it on Craigslist, or even offering it on Freecycle.com.
However, I know a few fellow Springfield, Missourians read or are LJ friends of me, so I figured I'd make the offer here first. I'll end up taking a loss on it anyway, but it's sunk costs, so I might as well have it be used by someone.
Anyone want this ticket certificate? Note that since you trade it in at the box office for a ticket, you don't have to sit next to me. If you have a spouse or friend you'd like to take along, you can buy another seat reasonably cheaply. But you'd probably better hurry, it's always possible they might sell out again.
I'm setting comments on this post to screened, so if you'd like the ticket, please leave me contact details so I can get in touch with you; they won't show up publicly. I'll be happy to drive it over to you if you reply fairly soon.
