Scary Robotech fan

Robotech fandom outright scares me sometimes.

More than meets the eye!

As a Transformers fan, I have this to say: the Michael Bay Transformers movie was five quarts of awesome in a one gallon jar. There were some clunky bits—a few places where the dialogue was painful, and in some of the fight sequences it was hard to make out who was fighting who. (In fact, the robots were pretty hard to tell apart in general.)

But they got so darned many things right, I had a grin from ear to ear for almost the entire two and a half hour run time.

(Oh, and if you go and see it, stay in your seat when the end titles start to roll. There are three brief "gotcha" clips interspersed in there, to catch people on their way out of the theater.)
