Day Three

Today was a work day largely spent in reading through past customer service email incident files at work, to help prepare for the time I start taking customer calls. The vast majority of them were things like "I forgot my password" or "How much does <blah> cost?" Things that could be answered with very little effort or concern. And I even got to send out a couple of answers today myself. Next week I get to go on the phones. I'm a bit nervous about that...but it can't be as bad as my first few weeks with the phone company. All I really have to do is sound professional...and if I don't know the answer to something, get it to my supervisor. I think I can handle that.

Got to leave work early today, because it wasn't busy at all. Basically, it was just dead, so we quit at 3. It's nice to be able to do that...though it worries me a bit in terms of making money. I hope the supe is right when he says that it'll get really busy before long. Anyway, after work I biked down to the NBC half-price clothing store to get some more pairs of shorts to wear in biking, then caught the bus back home.

I've posted a couple of updates to my essay journal over the last day or so. I've also registered it as a RSS feed here at LJ as [livejournal.com profile] allivegottosay so you can put it in your friends list if you want to. I'd prefer you read it on the website so I get to see the counter click over, and I may not see comments made in response on the LJ side, but do what you will.

Now to enjoy the weekend...
