Daily report
Mar. 12th, 2004 03:13 pmHad a phone interview with Work-At-Home-Agents today. Didn't take too long; was just a few preliminary questions and then read out loud a paragraph to test my reading voice. Based on the answers I gave, the interviewer said that I had the right temperament for the job. Now they run a background check and send me certification training material. If I pass that, I get another final interview, and if I pass that, I'm in...and have the chance to work on the phone at home, taking infomercial calls for however long per day. It'll bring in a little extra money for me, and that's all to the good.
I've made up my mind to attend ConQuest 35 in Kansas City this Memorial Day weekend. I've already reserved that Friday off, and I should get Monday off for the holiday. This is going to be a chance to meet John Ringo, a recent favorite SF author of mine (and perhaps get some books and things autographed), and to visit
tbutler again and take back the DVDs I borrowed from him. It'll also be a chance to see how the new car (which I hope to be getting ASAP) will take to a road trip.
Anybody else going to be there?
