And now, a little shameless plugging (and Google bombing) of a website that I happen to think is really neat: the Black Mask free ebook library. 7,500 public domain works, available for download in multiple formats.
Categories available include Action Adventure, Gothic Fiction, Mystery, Pulp Fiction, and Poetry.
The site hosts over 100 of the Doc Savage pulp action-adventure novels, and almost 300 of the adventures of The Shadow. Right now, I'm reading through the original Zorro novel, The Mark of Zorro (aka The Curse of Capistrano). Keen stuff.
The site also offers all 7,500 of its books collected on CDROM for $20--or free, if you make a links page to a few categories on the site. (Mine's right here. :)
