Sloppy joes and beer
Sitting at Mother's Brewery with some nice beers in front of me. Today I decided to do something special for the folks down here and so I made my favorite sloppy joe semi-recipe and brought it down. It was appropriate because I make it substituting Mother's Little Helper IPA for half the water the spice packet calls for. They went over pretty well, and apart from the two I had myself seven ended up being made altogether. I also gave some of it to my new neighbor, a nice older lady who has a tiny little West Highlands terrier that's smaller than either of my cats.
Tomorrow Mother's is having their third annual Mother's Day festival. I'm thinking I might just wander on down. Haven't been to one of them before, and anything involving beer and festivities…heh.
Little slow getting started on the articles I have to write this month. Got three of them done so far, out of the 10 to 20 I'm due to write. I'm finding I'm having a bit of trouble finding inspiration for articles. It's a bit of a problem, as without inspiration I don't have anything to write. I have this irrational feeling that every time I come up with something, that's one fewer article I'll be able to write, because there's another subject I've used up. Also having a little trouble getting the brainpower to do it. I keep getting sucked into various computer games.
Anyway, gonna enjoy the remainder of the beers in front of me and then head home.
