Here are the things I am willing to admit to having done today:

• 06:38 Woken up earlier than I would like to have been by people bustling around to make breakfast. But I can't really complain—I do like eating. #
• 07:51 Breakfast of biscuits and gravy was quite good. Now enjoying excellent coffee. #
• 07:55 I just learned that my Dad carries a ceramic teapot along with him when he travels. Here I thought everybody used teabags these days. #
• 07:58 Dad says his mother couldn't believe he preferred loose tea to teabags, and was always trying to test his ability to tell the difference. #
• 08:00 Ironically, SHE thinks she dislikes food made with olive oil, but she actually CAN'T tell the difference. #
• 08:22 Getting ready to head out for church. Annoyingly, the church does not seem to have wifi access, or at least didn't last time I was there. #
• 08:49 Off to church! #
• 09:04 The church turns out to have a community lobby with public wifi. Coolness. #
• 10:41 Church svc over. Relaxing for a moment in the wifi lobby. #
• 11:23 I have 7 Google Wave invitations to give away. Bear in mind that sending an invitation does not means you'll necessarily get one right away. #
• 11:36 Back at Aaron's for lunch before leaving for Springfield. #
• 11:47 Going to borrow 4 movies I haven't seen yet from Aaron. Amelie, Ratatouille, Stardust, and V for Vendetta. #

• 12:18 Lunch eaten. Getting ready to go. Luckily I'm already all packed but for this computer. #
• 12:57 Just passed an accident scene where an SUV was off the road and on its side. Was too slow with my camera to get a pic though. #
• 13:23 Someday when I have a job and car and time I want to drive to St. Louis along the actual Historic Route 66 remnants. Or back. #
• 14:02 Made the mistake of stopping at a Flying J truck stop to buy gas. Their pay at pump system only takes their brand of credit card. #
• 14:14 Nearing St. James. Passing vineyards. This is really a "grape" place to visit but I wouldn't want to live here! #
• 14:21 Rolling through Rolla. #
• 14:46 Stopping for ice cream in St. Robert. #
• 15:33 Driving past Lebanon now. Only an hour or so to Springfield. #
• 16:09 Passing through Strafford. Looking forward to being home. #
• 16:23 A block from my home. The parents have farther to go. #
• 16:34 Good to be back home at last. Whew. Fun weekend but tiring! #
• 16:59 It's good to be home. #
• 17:03 OK, once a couple people who requested invitations on Facebook get me their email addresses, I'll be out of Google Wave invitations for now. #
• 17:04 Those I've invited won't see invitations show up in their mailboxes right away, but will be on the list for sooner or later. #
