Tue, 17:07: They had a really hard time finding a vein in my right arm. It was almost a vein effort.
Tue, 17:13: Now comes the waiting. Always the most annoying part. At least Uncle Denis is here with me.

Tue, 17:31: Looks like it's gonna be another two hours before they anaesthetize me.

Tue, 18:00: Still waiting. At least I have my iPad.
Tue, 18:41: Anesthesiologist just stopped in to say they'd be ready for me in a bit. Yay.
Tue, 19:42: Still no sign of anesthesia yet. Still starving. Wish they'd hurry up. Annoyingly, I don't know what kind of appetite the drugs will leave.

Wed, 11:28: The orthopedist just came by. He says I'm good to go this morning. He wants to see me for a follow-up visit on Friday.
Wed, 11:29: And as an aside, I am deeply amused that the first time I said it, Dragon dictation rendered "the orthopedist" as "here is the penis".
