Here are the things I am willing to confess to having done today:

  • 01:31 Man, I hate insomnia. #
  • 06:38 @doctorow No URLs offhand, but shouldn't be hard to find a CC image of a rabbit + baby rabbits. "Breeding like rabbits" and all that. #
  • 07:05 Preparing to be dragged into town...on four hours' sleep. #
  • 07:18 Pulling out, townward bound. #
  • 08:11 Waiting at a Ford dealership for Dad to get his new Suburban inspected. #
  • 08:39 twitpic.com/1z6rr - You find the most unusual stores... #
  • 08:48 Enjoying a chocolate malt at that rarity of rarities, a drugstore with a soda fountain. Some things only still exist in small towns. #
  • 08:55 twitpic.com/1z72p - They even have glasses in the old style. #
  • 08:59 And the malt cost about half what it would have in a larger town, too. Here's the map link to where I am:
    bit.ly/AilBC #
  • 09:00 twitpic.com/1z75u - Warning: Doughnut Area #
  • 09:02 Or maybe it's just the link to my folks' house, since Skyhook hasn't wardriven Cassville. Oh well. #
  • 09:36 Having dropped off a clock, we have returned to the town square for a bit...giving me wifi access again. #
  • 10:00 twitpic.com/1z8bs - Glad I went before we left... #
  • 12:05 twitpic.com/1zbcm - Hillbilly men's room. #
  • 13:06 @xmiezex Lots of people like Avatar: The Last Airbender. I'm one of 'em. #
  • 13:53 Lying down to doze or read or both. #
  • 17:13 @SpringfieldCVB Someone needs to kitbash some tiny laptops and PDAs to take photos of "Tweeps". #insgfmo #sgf #
  • 17:57 @TwitterFon You're lucky that no obscenities came up on search when you submitted it! @tweetie 1.3 got torpedoed: bit.ly/1AbT0u #
  • 19:39 A lot of "lasts" this week. I'm now getting ready to take my last unhindered bath for six months. How exciting. #
  • 19:40 @evancass Because you said you'd read FOR BETTER OR FOR WORSE, and so you have. #
  • 19:40 @melanieesiska Mine too. :) #
  • 19:42 At least I've got the three books by @henrymelton that I have not yet read on my iPod Touch, for comfort reading in the hospital. #
  • 19:51 @UnknownFilms Eustace #
  • 19:53 It amazes me whenever someone complains that "you can't read e-books in the tub." All you need is a ziploc bag and you're good to go. #
  • 19:55 Hence, whenever I bathe, I make a point of bringing my Touch with me, enbaggied. Not to read much, bit just because I can. #
  • 19:56 Also, to Twitter.  #
  • 22:19 @tweetie 1.3 has hit the updater. #
  • 22:19 @wednesday Yep. He does whatever a spider can. Apparently, a spider can pilot giant robots. Who knew? #
  • 22:24 @wednesday Yeah. And the power to make his enemies grow to giant size so he can destroy them with it. #
  • 22:24 @wednesday (Just like Jessica Fletcher had the power to cause murders to happen in her immediate vicinity.) #
  • 22:25 @wednesday Haven't seen it, though I've read about it, so I'll just have to take your word for it. :) Seen Johnny Sokko, by the way? #
  • 22:29 @wednesday Really? It doesn't say anything in the description about you-specifically. Not that I doubt you, just curious about the story. #
  • 23:02 @tweetie Apple's stupid nonsensical UI guidelines for config options can bite me. #
  • 23:04 @tweetie Smart apps, like Stanza, ignore them and put options where users have been conditioned by years of comp use to expect to find them. #
  • 23:06 @tweetie I.e. in the app itself. Ppl who don't know better are apt to assume if they can't find the option in the app, it doesn't exist. #
