These articles keep showing up on my friends list, and/or in mentions by people I'm chatting with on-line…so who am I to buck the trend?

Michael Lewis, author of Liar's Poker, chronicles the downfall of Wall Street.

Brad Hicks talks about the structural problems that brought about the downfall of Wall Street.

I've only just started on the Michael Lewis one, so I can't say how good they are yet. But if the number of people who keep mentioning them is any indication, they must be pretty darned awesome.

My favorite blogger on the subject would be the financial postings by [livejournal.com profile] solarbird here on LJ.

Hicks' remarks are really telling.

Yes, this IS a case where the willful idiots in marketing and sales do not even bother to learn the product, and what's required for it to work. This IS a case where using it wrong harms the users, and selling it under false pretenses should be punished as fraud and racketeering.
