I went out and saw Iron Man last night. There are only two things I can really say about it:

1) All the praise it gets is absolutely 100% deserved.

2) Stay to the very tail end of the credits.

Wait, I thought I DID stay til the end of the credits! Augh! Maybe we didn't! What's at the end of the credits?

It's possible your theater might have had a print that didn't have the ending coda on it. Apparently some early preview prints didn't, because they didn't want to spoil the surprise. But there's a really cool scenelet after the end credits that is worth at least half of the price of admission to the movie all by itself.

If you really want to find out what the scene is, you can find the spoilers for it easily enough on-line. But trust me, you don't want to have that scene spoiled if you can help it. It's just that good.

So, now you have an excuse to see it again. But next time ask the theater whether their print has the special post-credit ending first. :)
