Ficlets "best practices" posts
Mar. 28th, 2008 09:40 amI finally got fed up.
After fruitlessly waiting for quite some time for a Ficlets forum to be created, I finally went ahead and used Ficlets technology itself, technically meant to be used for fiction pieces, to create a series of Best Practice posts with hints and tips and remonstrations about how to write ficlets.
It's amusing to see the comments this has brought out of the woodwork. People saying they can't afford half a dozen extra characters out of their 1K to put whitespace between their paragraphs and make them more readable.
But there are others who agree with me, which is nice to see.
Apparently, from the number of comments they're getting, people have been really hungry for this type of thing.
