Rounding up the usual suspects

Just got back from seeing Casablanca at the Gillioz theater, a beautifully-restored vintage cinema that originally opened in 1926. And even if the movie was just projected from a DVD player onto the screen, it was still every bit as memorable as it's ever been, and delightful to see on the big screen.

I always forget how many lines from that movie have made their way into other things in our culture.

Mmm... yeah, it's pretty amazing how much of that movie is used without folks even quite knowing it's from there.
