Lump on my face

robotech_masterI have some kind of a swelling on the side of my face, just forward of and below my right ear. I'm assuming it's some kind of infected gland, and I'm going to see the doctor about it on Wednesday.
At least, I hope that's what it is.
I really hope it's not a whole bunch of spider eggs or something.
