Potential Netsuite card-fraud warning
Apr. 19th, 2007 12:23 pmI just heard from a friend that the credit card database of Netsuite—the company that handles credit card stuff for Valve's cybercafes—may have been compromised. Apparently Valve told iGames, and it's being discussed on the iGames private forums, but people who post about it in the Valve Cybercafes forum get their posts deleted.
Apparently credit card companies and the FBI have already been notified about what card numbers were compromised.
It's rumor relayed by about three degrees of separation, but if your credit card is active with Netsuite, you might want to consider sending off for a new one—or at least keep an eye out for any news that confirms or denies a security breach.
