Happy Anniversary, Mom & Dad!

robotech_masterToday is my mom and dad's 40th anniversary. They were married on 6/6/66, and so it's been 40 years.
I'm really proud of them for that, and feel truly fortunate that in this era of myriad divorces and broken homes, I have two parents that have managed to stick together through thick and thin.
Here's hoping they have at least 40 more.

Date: 2006-06-07 03:28 pm (UTC)My parents also celebrated their 40th this year. In celebration, and this being their Ruby Anniversary, my bros. and I kicked in to get them a bottle of port from 1966. Even if your parents don't drink, the big 1966 on the label makes an excellent statement.
