This is me, nearing the end of my second evening ensconced at the BioKinetic medical study facility. All things considered it hasn't been a bad study...except this morning. I've had a sour stomach the last few days, ever since I was ill enough to stay home from work on Tuesday, and this morning was no exception. And it happened that our breakfast contained some annoyingly greasy and unappetizing food (including a hard-cooked egg and an English muffin on which we were required to use a serving of spread) that we had to choke down anyway. I was about 90% done with eating it when the portion I'd eaten decided it didn't like its present lodgings. Luckily I was able to make it to a sink in time. Luckily, they didn't kick me out of the study—even though I was technically supposed to have eaten every bite of breakfast. I guess they don't care what happens to it after it leaves the plate. Anyway, I didn't have any further digestive troubles, the medicine stayed down just fine, and the day went well enough after that.
Time to get in line to get my last blood sample of the evening taken, and then go try to get some sleep.
