I wake up, noodle on the computer, shave and stuff, and get ready to go to work. And then I find...my bike's front tire is flat.
I walk it down to the filling station to see if it'll hold enough air to get to work...no luck. I try to call my boss to tell him this...but my cellphone's battery is dead.
So I walk the bike back to the apartment, call him from there, take a bus, get in an hour late. After work, I'll have to take the bus down to the bike shop and get them to fix the tire. I expect not to get home until 7 or so.
Still, it's not entirely bad. I can get an estimate for fixing my bike's shocks while I'm there, I guess. Oh, and Cory Doctorow's gotten another short story placed with Salon Magazine. Called Anda's Game, it's released under a Creative Commons license so permission is granted to redistribute it noncommercially. Pretty neat.
In other news, I've done some updates to my essay journal over the last few days, largely dealing with The Incredibles (awesome movie—go and see it right now; I'll wait). That's about all from this front...
