Though the Alien and the Predator are longtime mainstays of the silver screen, the two highest-paid extraterrestrials in Hollywood have never appeared on screen together. Until now. Today, when 20th Century Fox releases "Alien vs. Predator," these longtime friends will finally combine their daunting box-office muscle for a can't-miss summer blockbuster. The movie wasn't screened for the press, so to publicize the film, the pair agreed to sit down with the American-Statesman's Jeff Salamon to discuss their early years, their co-stars and the career move that almost ended their friendship.

Mysterious Wooden Structure Causing Pre-Olympic Jitters

Olympic security officials in Athens, Greece conceded today that they had failed to notice a giant wooden horse that had been wheeled to within meters of the Olympic stadium sometime late last week.

The sudden appearance of the gigantic horse, which was said to measure over one hundred cubits in width, has raised fresh concerns that the security around the Olympic complex might be more porous than originally thought.
