Car Craving Mad

I've gone ahead and made the arrangements for Liability Insurance, at $261 for a six month period. I wonder if I should go ahead and get collision insurance, too, for an extra $100? I'm getting the car at $1000...well below its blue book value of $1700. If I get in an accident and it has to be totalled out, that way at least I'd get something back.
Man, the car is such a peach (as described to me, anyway; I haven't actually seen it yet, save for a long time ago when my grandmother was in it and I wasn't paying attention at the time). All the options that were top-of-the-line in 1990, right down to power seats. Radio with cassette deck. Only 28,000 miles on it. I'm practically afraid to touch it, let alone drive it...it's going to be the nicest and most expensive anything that I've ever owned.
The plan is for me to wake up at 8 a.m. tomorrow in order to go in and get various licensing matters taken care of before work. Can't say that I'm pleased about having to get up that early, but, well, it's the only time that we can do it. Then I'll have all day Friday to get acquainted with it. I wonder where I should go? Maybe down to Branson to take in a movie at the iMax? Wonder what's playing there right now.
In other news, I've been playing a bunch of Xcom recently. Got ahold of the Windows version of the original again and I think I'm well on the road to beating it. Such a fun game...especially when I've managed to keep a bunch of troops alive for a while so their stats go up.
Getting close to time to get back to work, so I guess I'll close out this entry and go.
