Delays, delays...

robotech_masterWork has gone fairly well today...the throat's still mildly sore, but it hasn't interfered overmuch with taking the calls. I've just had plenty of peppermint tea on hand, as well as about a quart of orange juice, to keep the ol' throat moist.
I finally got through to the doctor's office...though I'm confident that I really don't need to go at the moment. And it's a good thing, too...because I've not seen that particular doctor in long enough that I qualify as a "new patient," and they have to set up a special "new patient" appointment for me...and 9:45 a.m. on Thursday, March 11th is the soonest they could set an appointment that would mesh with my work schedule.
In other news of annoying delays, I called the local Pepsi bottler and asked when the new iTunes music giveaway bottles that were advertised during the Super Bowl would be hitting the area. The answer was "the week after next." Oh well, at least now I know when to start cap hunting.
Back to work, and a good book.
