Blindsided by unexpected good news...

Having misplaced the envelope without opening it, I'd been looking for and worrying about last month's bill from City Utilities (power, water, gas) for some time, and had pretty much resolved to swing by and find out how much I owed them in person after my next paycheck came in, since I couldn't find it.

Well, I just now noticed the corner of the envelope peeking out from under the cushion on my easy chair, and retrieved it, prepared for the worst...

...and found that my deposit had been applied, so for last month I owe negative thirty-five dollars.

All of a sudden, I'm much less worried about my immediate financial situation.
