Morning thoughts
Aug. 1st, 2003 10:17 amMorning...and I sit at the laptop again, instead of the desktop. The novelty value, I suppose. I'll probably soon be back to using the desktop for most of my computing, especially since I like the keyboard better there. But even so, I'm having less trouble using this one than I expected.
Found a version of emacs that opens properly on the OS X desktop, instead of running only within a terminal window. That was about the only thing I needed to turn this into a spiffy mobile writing machine. It's really too bad they don't let people bring outside laptops into work with them.
Woke up a couple of hours early again. I think I need to get more aluminum foil and finish doing the windows in my bedroom. If it's darker, I should sleep better. I'm going to be exhausted by the end of the day.
