Working for a living

robotech_masterWell, I'm back at work. Today is my second day of overtime; I took 2 3/4 hours yesterday and one hour today, in the hope of picking up a little cash and a few more calls. The thing is, in order to keep that cash, I may have to stay 'til close every night, and not take undertime even if it's offered. There's some sort of confusion about whether or not I keep overtime if I take undertime, or if the undertime comes off the overtime first. Oh well.
You know, it's a bit funny how things can work out sometimes. Yesterday, I was reading Richard Dansky's first Exalted novel of a trilogy...and I enjoyed it so much that I immediately plunked off a $45 order to Amazon for the next couple of books, and the first couple of Exalted roleplaying game books. Not two hours after that, I was awarded $20 on my cash card for a very satisfied customer earlier that day, so my order was abruptly partly-subsidized.
Well, back to work...
