So, last night after work I checked out Best Buy and Walmart looking for the appropriate CDROM storage solutions. I had settled on buying three file-style CD holders, but then when I go them to the registers, it turned out that they actually cost twice as much as I thought they did! Wrong place on the shelf, I guess. I finally ended up getting a 208-CD binder for $26 at Wal-Mart; I'm not looking forward to putting CDs in all those little envelopes, but once it's done, at least they'll be easily stored.

Didn't sleep well this morning; finally figured that if I couldn't sleep, I might as well not waste the extra wake time. So I got up about 7:00 and watched the eps of TMNT and Power Rangers I recorded Sat morning while I was working. And then I watched tonight's episode of 24, courtesy of the Internet. Wow. Those 24 people sure know how to keep stuff hopping. The ending was so nerve-wracking that I'm not sure if I can bear to tune in next week. (But I think I'll manage somehow. :)

Zipped over to Best Buy on my first break and snagged the Miyazaki DVDs. Turned out to have a little less money than I thought remaining on that Best Buy gift card, but it still helped. And, if I can sell the copy of Princess Mononoke for a decent price on eBay or somewhere, that'll help even more. I can hardly wait to get home and watch at least some of them.

The party atmosphere is still in effect here at the MCI call center; there is a brand new VW Beetle parked outside—the grand prize in this quarter's contests. We were also given little travel mugs and steering-wheel keychain tzotzkes this morning as part of the contest explanation. Yay. Like I have any chance of winning that. In somewhat more material matters, lunch was catered today from McAllister's Deli: turkey/croissant club sandwich, potato chips, sugar cookie, lemonade. Yum.

And that's my day so far.
