Daily grind

robotech_masterContinuing the fun streak that my non-work life has been experiencing lately, last night I started the sink filling to do the dishes...then got distracted by the news coverage and only noticed the overflow forty-five minutes later, by which time my kitchen and the bathroom which is through the wall from it had flooded. I spent the next hour or so mopping with towels and a mop, until I'd gotten enough of the water out that evaporation over the next couple of days could take care of the rest. Joy.
For once, I woke up before the alarm was due to go off (due to the cat wanting back in) so I got up and dressed ten minutes early.
Today, thanks to more room disruption at "Many Changes Instantly," we're not in a classroom at all but in one of the cubicle bays, where at least we can log into our training accounts and do computer-assisted training and stuff. The cubicles are pretty decent...usually shared between a couple of shifts, each of which gets to do some personalization. I'm thinking of getting a Demotivators calendar to hang in my cube...there are enough of the motivational things around that Demotivators parody that it'll be interesting to see how long it takes before anyone notices. :)
