My day, & stuff

robotech_masterWell, I had a bit of an odd dream last night; the only definite thing I can remember of it was that the police were after me because I'd tried to steal a garbage truck. Woke up, went to the bathroom, crawled back into bed. I intentionally didn't check the time, because I noticed it was light, so it surely wouldn't be too long before the alarm went off...and my way of thinking was that if I looked at the clock, I'd know there wasn't any point in trying to rest, and wouldn't be able to relax. Or something like that. My early-morning thought patterns tend to be a little muddled.
Anyway, I finally did look at the clock, and noticed that my alarm should have gone off half an hour earlier. But hadn't. Whoops. I proceeded to do one of the fastest shave-and-dress maneuvers on record, skipped breakfast, and arrived at the Quikdine office only about 10 minutes late. But it was okay.
Since that time, up to about an hour ago, I've been pretty busy. At one point I had to deliver two huge Pasta Express orders to two office buildings, which involved keeping 17 32-oz fountain drinks from spilling while en route. Whee!
Not counting the $6.30 corporate-account tip that I won't get 'til my paycheck at the end of the month, I think I've made about $29 in tips so far today—and the day's only half over. Cool.
I finally picked up The Sims Unleashed and have been playing a bit with it when I have the time. It's an interesting expansion, and once I figure out how to work it, it seems like it'll offer unparallelled play opportunities. As you can see from the photo at right, it's not without the occasional glitch, however.
