Buffeterie

robotech_masterWell, dinner was a bit of an experience this evening. I decided to drive down to CiCi's Pizza, which is about halfway across town. They're one of the few places I know that has an all-day buffet and actually has good pizza, too, so the trip is usually worth it.
This evening, I drove down there, and then discovered when I arrived...my wallet wasn't in my pocket. So, I drove all the way back to my apartment to get it, then returned to the restaurant with my appetite.
The pizza was good, as always...I had a good amount of it, plus some of their dessert breadsticks, and even some salad, too. But I fell prey to overzealous busboys, not once but twice--two times, I came back to the table where I had been sitting just a moment before, plate newly laden down with pizzaish goodness...to find my tray, and my drink, had vanished.
I can't really blame them for it, given that it's their job to keep the place clean so more guests can be seated, but it was a little annoying. Next time I'm going to bring along a notecard with a little "I am not finished! Do not take my stuff!" note on it.
Time to play the eBay waiting game again. Every five minutes, I reload the page to see if someone else has bid. It doesn't seem to happen very often.
I sure hope the stuff sells...
