Maps, pain, stuff like that

robotech_masterA friend of mine pointed me at the instructions for how to make these funky graphical maps--"incest maps," the writeup calls them. In less offensive parlance, they seem to be graphical representations of how you link to your friends, and how those friends link to each other. Never one to let something neat go by without trying it, I plugged my own .dot file into the generator and came out with this image. It's about 113K, which is relatively small, I gather. Hm, I should add as friends a couple of the people who have me listed as friends but I do not, and see how that changes things. This could be addictive....
The blasted wisdom tooth is still hurting me. Gah, agony agony, for days upon days. Smearing on Anbesol gel every half hour or so, taking Aleves by day and left-over Tylenol 3s by night, trying to live with the pain until Monday, when I can finally have the blasted thing yanked. As if that were not bad enough, I still have to work. The pain is driving me crazy, and making me hazy--the last two days I've been scheduled, I arrived a consistent half-hour late, because I was sure that was what I was scheduled. Too sure, alas, to check the schedule I keep on my Visor.
Speaking of work, I found out today that Springfield dodged the bullet in terms of that chain of retail stores closing. I had thought we might lose the north franchise, but no, three stores closed in Missouri and none of them was here. It'll be a relief to the customers who keep coming in and asking how much longer we're going to be there, to be sure.

blacknumber01 again today. Darn, but it's a new experience being able to call him and actually get through for a change.
Dental appointment coming up Monday--if I can make it that long without going postal. At least I only have one more work day between now and then (on my birthday, what joy), and a day off afterward to recover. (Well, I do have an interview at a temp/placement agency on that day, but compared to work it should be much less stressful.)
