Clean Machine

robotech_masterWell, I went out to do a little shopping this morning; stopped by the Best Buy to pick up some things that will make handy Christmas presents this year--which I shall not mention specifically, since, after all, some of the recipients might just be reading this. Suffice it to say that I found some great deals.
Remind me to rant a little about "Buy Nothing Day" when I have the time. Not right now, though.
Joe Moore, a longstanding friend of mine, had agreed to come over today to watch a movie. However, it seems that he spent some time reading my LiveJournal, noticed my plaintive cries for help, and decided, instead, to help me clean up my room. This we did for a couple hours today, and it looks rather nice so far. The floor does, at least. We still need to clean off the other surfaces. At the moment, he's gone off to get his paycheck, eat dinner, and run some other errands, though he says he will be back to help further after that. I went ahead and grabbed a bite at Subway, and now I've been working a little more on my own. I hope he hurries up...I lack the willpower to do much on my own.
