robotech_masterAh, nice relaxing afternoon. Sitting here on the computer with Hell Freezes Over playing, piped out to the TV sitting next to my monitor, playing through the big speakers under the desk. Waiting for the soup to simmer.
I'm making a big ol' packet of Bear Creek creamy chicken soup, using for meat what I've gotten off the remains of the deli roasted chicken I bought the other day. I was surprised...I've never de-meated a chicken before, and there was a lot more on it than I'd thought. Almost too much for the soup, really, but I figured what the heck.
Bear Creek's soup mixes are the closest thing to home-made I've yet found. They always come out delicious, and they're so easy to prepare, too. I'm hoping that this will be a little easier to eat than some of the food I've dealt with over the last few days, with this canker sore. The sore is starting to go away now, but just in case, something I don't have to chew as much will be nice.
